This was the first "non-videogame" interface that I had designed in a long time. I felt quite excited about it and I was happy to accept the challenge.
This was a complex APP with many menus and features. My main challenge was to simplify the interactions as much as possible and reduce the APP flow a minimum.
Unfortunately, after a couple of months of work, many other popular taxi APPs hit the market and my client decided to stop the development. Nonetheless, I had enough time to complete and deliver the wireframes and start working on the look & feel.
"I hired Miguel to work on my App as a UX/UI designer and UI Artist. I was looking for a clear and simple flow as well as an appealing art style. Despite the fact that project was cancelled, during the time I worked with him he proved to reach high standards and have a brilliant understanding of the user experience. His willingness and ability to understand my ideas made the entire design process a breeze. On top of that, his approachable personality made things easy and build up a very enjoyable and professional relationship based on direct communication and trust.
If you need someone who is able to turn complex designs into a user friendly and visually appealing design then look no further. I highly recommend his services."

This is the only concept I created after finishing the wireframes. You may notice some differences with the wireframes.
The user is rewarded by getting miles with every booking. There are checkpoints to encourage the user to take more taxis. Once the user reaches one of the checkpoints, they get a discount. Discounts can be found in the Voucher section.
I was looking for something very clean and easy on the eye. This design shows only the information that is needed to pickup a taxi: address, time, and a button to book. Anything else is hidden within the Settings.
Please ignore the background as it is from the WhatsApp APP. This was the first and last concept before the development was cancelled.
These are some examples of wireframes I did for this project.
