Senior UX/UI Designer
When a team member didn't have a project, they joined 'The Lab', 'The Lab' was a 'place' to pitch ideas and experiment with alternative roles while getting new skills and getting ready for the new projects to come.
In this page I have included 3 projects in which I participated while I was in 'The Lab': Decontaminator (Demo), a Cross-play Platform project and a PvE Game.
Even though these projects were discontinued, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to collaborate with many other colleagues from TLM that - otherwise - I would have never had a choice to work with; together we worked on new in-house projects, pitched ideas, learnt and had lots of fun.
SOME EXTRA CONTENT COMING SOON
DECONTAMINATION (Game Demo)
UX/UI Designer & UI Artist
This little project was our intend to bring our vision to the cooperative gaming world. We worked on a small demo to prove the simplicity of the Team's concept.
Since the project was small, I didn't make any wireframes and made the UX directly on photoshop while I was art directing a UI Artist and a 3D Artist, who made the icons and the characters, respectively.
UX Researcher & UXUI Designer
I found this project as an opportunity to work on something different than a video game.
My role in this project was quite technical. I focused on doing a market research and user research, I also had the opportunity to design a login feature in Adobe XD.
There is not confidential information in the docs bellow these lines, otherwise I would not share them.
It happens often that teams start projects without knowing which is their target audience, as the UX Designer in charge, it is my responsibility that everyone knows the End User for which the software is going to be built; therefore when I spot this issue in this project, I prepared a short presentation and presented it to the team. Once we all were on the same page, we started working on it. Before I moved to another project, I had time to make some personas and a login feature.
Some examples of personas created to lead some of the features we were planning to implement.
PvE (Game Demo)
This Game Demo was in a very early stage when I joined and some of the content was unknown, for instance: the Game Categories and the Character's abilities.
Since I joined this project little before I left TLM, I didn't have a lot of time to produce content; I focused on making the wireframes to cover the main core loop, so that the team had some of the key screens such as: Team, Avatar, Weapon Loader, Lobby and Loading Screen.
